Intrastate Moving
HGM is licensed to move anywhere within the state of Oregon.
We work hard to take the stress off you because we know moving is already stressful enough.
Let us go the distance for you!
We will move your Household or storage from Bend out. Moves over 50 miles are calculated by miles and weight using an ODOT regulated tariff.
After a thorough in-home estimate we will provide a transparent quote and make sure you know what to expect.
On move day we will show up with one of our 26' trucks, pads, and other essential equipment, load your belongings and take it back to our shop to be secured overnight.
The next day we leave the shop at 8 AM to arrive in a timely manner at your destination.
Once we arrive, we will unload your items into the rooms you prefer, place furniture if you’d like, and assemble your beds* so you’ll rest well the first night in your new home, collect payment and be on our way.
*we are not allowed to disassemble or reassemble cribs and other baby furniture

Wow!!! I don't know where to start. I have never used professional movers (I've moved just three times in 66 years) and we certainly picked the right company. This was a big move from Bend to Hillsboro. I have a lot of antiques, some with original glass. Nate, Matt, Brian, Connor and Tyler arrived at our home, got the big truck up our narrow, steep driveway and went to work taking things apart, wrapping and loading. They were super friendly, upbeat, professional and very careful. The next day, Tyler, Connor and Brian transported our belongings to Hillsboro, and went to work, again with smiles and great attitudes. They were very patient with me about where to place things, carefully re-assembled things and worked their tails off all afternoon. Then they had to drive back to Bend!! I will also mention the superb customer service we rec'd from Ruby when we were setting up the move. And also Rachel who came to our home to do the inventory and determine if everything would fit in one truck. She was so kind and friendly. I wish I could give them 50 stars. Highly, highly recommend Higher Ground Moving!!!

Tyler & Anthony exuded confidence and positive energy on moving day. I was worried my two bedroom apt wouldn't fit in the 15 ft UHaul we'd rented. Calm, masterful organization, incredible attention to detail in wrapping every single piece of furniture to keep it safe... these gentlemen are the real deal.
